Fennell Investment Group Investment Scam

An "out of the blue" email from an "Investment Group" in one of the Gulf states offering investment in your business. Looks above-board... not using a sender gmail account but a little bit of investigation is in order before, if you are in business, you reply to their offer...

Subject: Investment funds for viable projects

Greetings!

I am working directly with a private INVESTOR portfolio that can provide funding for credible clients with feasible projects. Currently, we have investment funds for viable projects.

We are currently seeking means of expanding and relocating our business interest in the following sectors: Banking, Real Estate, Stock Speculation and Mining, Transportation, Health sector and Tobacco or any other sector you may suggest. We can also partner with your company on other projects of value. The interest rate and tenure are fantastic.

PLEASE NOTE: Intermediaries / Consultants / Brokers are welcome to bring their clients and are 100% protected. In complete confidence, we will do good business.

Kindly respond accordingly if you have interest for possible corporation.

Regards,
Mohammad Abdalla

Notes: Immediate "red flag" is the "out of the blue" approach... legitimate companies don't do that. E-Mail address matches the assumed name of the "company" Fennel Investment Group but let's look more closely.

Checking the domain name www.fennellinvgroup.com on whois shows it has only recently been registered (on the 10th March) and there is no active website. One typo in the email does not add to credibility.

Entering the sender email address into google and selecting the ai options indicates that the email address has been used in other approaches and in the opinion of Gemini indicates a scam.
