I think this might be Phishers or Scammers pretending to be Veridion by using a veridion.eu email address rather than the veridion.com email address and legitimate website that the genuine Veridion organisation uses.

Notes: The email comes from Veridion Privacy privacy@veridion.eu, yet at the foot of the email you are told if you have any privacy concerns to contact Mihai Vinaga at privacy@veridion.com. A legitimate company is likely to have only one privacy email address and that is likely to be the privacy@veridion.com address as the website at veridion.com appears legitimate whilst the website at veridion.eu is very rudimentary.

It is normal practice that even if a company has multiple domain names eg .com and .eu or in this case possibly .ro extensions that there will be one website at the main domain name and the other domain names will forward to that main domain name website.

We have run veridion.eu and veridion.com through the Scamminder Scam engine. Links to the reports below.

It is difficult to know what clicking on the links below might unleash, so don't click on the links.

 

Recommendation:

Delete the email.
