Now if you are expecting a delivery by Royal Mail you might easily fall victim to this e-mail which has not come from Royal Mail. If you click on the link and make the small requested payment you will have provided all your bank details to the scammers who will come back and empty your account. Let's look at what they have to say and note several warning signs that the e-mail is not from Royal Mail.
E-Mail received:
Date: 25/05/2025, 23:52
From: Royal Mail royalmail@email.com
To: [E-mail address redacted]
Subject: Confirm your Parcel
Notes: The sender email address: royalmail@email.com is not an official Royal mail email address but one provided by the free email provider Mail.com.
The click through website is claimed to be royalmail.com/confirm-package, a plausible royal mail webpage however mousing over the hyperlink shows that the hyperlink links to the address https://5ndynote8.jeance.com/setter/lawless, a website address that bears no resemblance to being a genuine royal mail address but a faked website to steal your personal banking details.
In fact if you attempt to access the website my browser blocks access with a warning page as below:

Just delete the e-mail do not click on the link.
