Companies House / Evri Scam

Evri is apparently so keen that I review these delivery contents before despatch that they have sent me SEVEN identical emails within hours of each other from different email addresses but none likely associated with the Evri Courier company.

This is the email we received

From: EVRI - Companies House admin@bangqijm.com

To: [Name Redacted]

Subject: Confirm Evri Guidance Today to Book Your CH Shipment

companies house evri scam

Notes: Sender email addresses: admin@bangqijm.com, iso@yaf.tshtt.uz, auxsourcing4@rigbapromo.com, auxsourcing4@rigbapromo.com, web@cw-house.com, temp@mmb14.com, temp@mmb14.com. Subject lines: Confirm Evri Guidance Today to Book Your CH Shipment, Companies House ID Verification Documents Awaiting Your Approval, Approve Evri Guidance to Book Your Companies House Courier, Ready to Dispatch Companies House Documents Once You Confirm, Confirm Review of Evri Guidance for Companies House Documents, Confirmation Needed for Evri Terms on Companies House ID Documents. Unrealistic sender email addresses (1 an Uzbekistan address) and subject lines.

Whilst possibly you might be advised that a courier delivery is due to be made to you prior to despatch, how can you confirm that the contents of the delivery do not contravene non-permitted items? You have no part in packing the consignment contents being despatched.

If genuine Companies House documents were to be sent to you then they would be simply sent by a Royal Mail Signed for Service to the Service or Registered Address already held on file by Companies House.

We received this email SEVEN times and we are not a company registered with Companies House!

The click through address to "Confirm and review Evri's permitted/restricted list" is to the web address: https://media-static362a0a9heap.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/H9kb1H9GD which isn't likely to be a genuine evri webpage.

Recommendation: Delete the email.
