Your urgent attention is required, Mutual Business Partnership

Dear Sir/Madam,

Greetings. I hope this message finds you well. I am interested in discussing a business partnership that would be mutually beneficial to both of us and our families. Meanwhile, I got your email through a reputable database online. Please contact me via this email address: davidhilton44@outlook.com for more comprehensive information.

Notes: So intrigued that someone claiming to be Judge of the International Court of Justice, with a Nigerian email address but probably emailing from the western hemisphere wishes me to be involved in a mutual business partnership that a D Hilton will give me more information. Plenty of inconsistancies but Hey Ho let's express our interest.

Very quickly a reply comes:

Dear [Name redacted]

Greetings,

Thank you for your prompt response and for showing interest in learning more about my business proposal. I am writing with the sincere hope that this communication will lead to a mutual understanding and the establishment of a cordial and beneficial relationship between us.

My name is Mr. David Hilton, Manager of the Accounting and Audit Department at Credit Suisse Bank, Cabot Square, London, United Kingdom.

I contacted you to explore the possibility of establishing a mutually beneficial business relationship founded on trust, professionalism, and shared humanitarian interests. Following my review of your interest, I believe there is an opportunity for us to discuss a potential transaction and investment arrangement that may benefit both parties.

I would appreciate the opportunity to present the proposal in greater detail and discuss how we may achieve mutual benefits while also supporting charitable and community-focused initiatives.

In my capacity as Manager of the Accounting and Audit Department at our Greater London Regional Office, I discovered an account containing the sum of £25,900,000.00 (Twenty-Five Million Nine Hundred Thousand British Pounds Sterling), belonging to one of our late foreign customers, Mr. Manzoor Hassan. Mr. Hassan, a successful businessman, tragically lost his life in a helicopter crash in 2014, together with his wife, his only son Avraham (Albert), and his daughter-in-law.

My decision to contact you is influenced by the geographical nature of your residence, particularly considering the sensitive and confidential nature of this matter. The bank has been awaiting claims from any relatives or legal beneficiaries of the deceased; however, all efforts to locate any next of kin have been unsuccessful.

In light of this situation, I seek your consent to present you as the next of kin and beneficiary of the deceased in order to facilitate the release of the funds, valued at £25.9 million British Pounds Sterling. Furthermore, the legal timeframe for inheritance claims before the funds are forfeited to the United Kingdom government as unclaimed property is due to expire within a few weeks.

The proposed sharing arrangement is as follows:

- 35% (£9,065,000.00) for me
- 35% (£9,065,000.00) for you
- 30% (£7,770,000.00) to be dedicated to humanitarian projects and charitable causes in memory of Mr. Hassan

Please be assured that all necessary legal documentation required to support this inheritance claim can be arranged. What is required at this stage is the inclusion of your name in the relevant documents and the legalization of the process through the British High Court to establish you as the legitimate beneficiary of the inheritance.

I require your honest cooperation, confidentiality, and trust to ensure the successful completion of this transaction. I assure you that the process will be handled professionally and in accordance with applicable legal procedures.

To proceed, kindly provide the following information:

1. Your full name
2. Telephone number
3. Contact address

After conducting a detailed search through online databases, fate led me to contact you directly, believing that you may find this proposal both interesting and potentially life-changing not only for ourselves but also for underprivileged individuals who may benefit from the humanitarian aspect of this arrangement.

Upon confirmation of your interest, I will provide further details, including legally binding partnership agreements intended to protect the rights, privacy, safety, and interests of both parties throughout and after the completion of the transaction, in full compliance with agreed terms and conditions under the law and with maximum confidentiality.

Your positive response to this email and business proposal will be highly appreciated.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best Regards,
David Hilton

Notes: First I would like to ask you to observe with me a minute's silence in respect of Mr Manzoor Hassan, his wife, his only son Avraham (Albert), and his daughter-in-law who all died in a tragic helicopter crash. Consequently he has no next of kin.

The impossible proposal is to present me as his next of kin, my fake name could never be misunderstood to be of Islamic heritage nor could the photographic id (also fake) I might be asked to present. £25.9 million British Pounds Sterling is a sizeable amount of money so I provide the information requested (fake) and await more details.

Greetings,

Dear [Name redacted],

Thank you for your email response and for submitting your credentials as confirmation of your readiness and commitment to this business partnership. I sincerely appreciate your willingness to collaborate with me on this transaction.

Your cooperation and prompt response are highly valued, and I look forward to working closely with you toward the successful completion of this arrangement.

I wish to inform you that I am the account manager of the late Mr. Manzoor Hassan, a Pakistani national. Based on the circumstances surrounding this matter, your involvement places you in a favorable position to be presented as the beneficiary and next of kin to the funds in question.

Please be assured of my full support throughout the claims process. This transaction is legitimate, provided that all procedures and directives are carefully followed. I initiated contact with you with the intention of establishing a trustworthy and mutually beneficial relationship through which this transaction can be successfully executed.

As part of this arrangement, I am nominating you as the next of kin to the late Mr. Manzoor Hassan. I will personally represent and work with you as the beneficiary connected to this transaction to ensure the successful realization of this opportunity.

At this stage, the most important requirement is the provision of the necessary supporting documentation. My bank management and I will take full responsibility for presenting you as the rightful next of kin to the late Mr. Manzoor Hassan.

I have already obtained the death certificate and will proceed with the procurement of the Grant of Probate from the High Court of England upon receipt of the completed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), together with a copy of your valid identification document.

Additionally, I shall authorize the private attorney whose services I have retained to handle all legal documentation processes required to secure the Grant of Probate from the High Court of England, as well as any additional documents necessary to facilitate the smooth processing and release of the inheritance funds.

Furthermore, the attorney will act as the administrator appointed by you, the designated next of kin, in accordance with intestacy laws, which permit the next of kin to appoint an administrator for the estate.

For your review and completion, the following documents are attached to this email:

1. Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
2. Death Certificate

The MOU serves as a legally binding agreement between both parties. Kindly print the document, carefully complete the required information,  append your signature, and include the date at the bottom of the MOU and return it to me along with a copy of your valid identification document.

Please note that I completed the drafting of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 14 May 2026 and have already signed my section of the agreement. You are kindly requested to review the document thoroughly, complete your section using a blue pen, and append your signature where required.

Ensure that you read and fully understand the terms and conditions of the MOU before proceeding.

Also note that the death certificate was officially obtained following the unfortunate demise of Mr. Manzoor Hassan in a helicopter crash in 2014.

I look forward to your prompt response so that I may provide you with further details regarding the next phase of this transaction.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Best regards,
Mr. David Hilton

death certificate

Notes: The scammers have sent supporting documents, the death certificate is a very good forgery of an official UK Death certificate. It is however a fake as a google search aided by gemini ai reports there was no helicopter crash over the capital at the time "Manzor Hassan's" death was said to have taken place. I return the memorandum of understanding with fake details, let us see what happens next.

Dear [Name redacted],

Good morning. I hope you are doing well.

I am writing to formally acknowledge receipt of the completed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) as required for the finalization of our business partnership agreement.

I am pleased to confirm that the partnership agreement has now been duly perfected and our partnership is officially established. In addition, I have obtained the bank account statement of Mr. Manzoor Hassan, as referenced in my previous email, for confirmation of the existence of the funds.

Furthermore, I would like to inform you that I have engaged an attorney who will oversee the procurement of the Grant of Probate from the High Court of England. I have also reached an agreement with the attorney regarding the legal fees for the processing and procurement of the required legal documents.

Please find below the breakdown of the required fees:

- Attorney’s Fee: £1,300
- Legal Document Issuance, Signing, and Certification Fee: £2,500

Total Required Fee: £3,800

As agreed, the above-mentioned fee will be shared equally between both partners at 50% each. The fees will be required by Friday to enable the attorney to proceed with the processing and procurement of the legal documents.

Kindly let me know when you will be able to pay your share of the fee, which amounts to £1,900, so that I may provide you with the attorney’s account details for payment. I intend to pay my own share on Friday morning and will share the payment slip with you immediately after the transfer has been completed.

Please find attached the bank account statement for your review and perusal.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. I look forward to your prompt response.

Best regards,
Mr. David Hilton

mr manzoor hassan bank statement

Notes: Now starts a series of requests for the payment of fees to release this money to the person being scammed. This first request is for £1,900. Note they only tell you the payment details once you have agreed to pay (of course that does not mean you will pay!).

To reassure you that the inheritance is real they have attached a copy of Mr Manzoor Hassan's last bank statement from supposedly the Credit Suisse Bank, Vanary Wharf branch in London. A quick perusal of the figures and you can see that they do not add up. We reply requesting payment details, we receive the email late on Friday afternoon so there is no way the payment could be made before next week.

Recommendation: Delete the e-mail.
