Treasury US$10.5 Million Compensation Scam

So whether you were a victim of scams or not you have been added to a list of people due to receive compensation, an unbeliveable amount of US$10.5 Million EACH.This email is apparently from Scott Bessent. Secretary of Treasury. Let's read what they have to say...

Funds worth $10,500,000.00 each have been approved for disbursement to a few scam victims as compensation by the United States Government in conjunction with the Treasury Department and United States Office for Victims of Crime (OVC). And luckily your name/details made this list. You are required to reconfirm your personal details below

1. Full Name.
2. House Address.
3. Phone Number.
4. I.D Card.

You will be required to contact the paying bank after sending us the above details to acquaint you with the funds release process.

You are advised to adhere to the Bank's instructions as we await your earliest reply with the above requested personal information to this email address (scott_bessent226@proton.me)

Notes: The email comes from the anonymous free email provider GMail favoured by spammers, but the reply to address is the encrypted mail service protonmail. Protonmail will have to watch that their free provision isn't being compromised by scammers. Seriously would the Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent be contacting you and from a gmail account?

 

 

Recomendation: You wont receive any money and certainly not US$10.5 Million. Just delete the email
