Etihad Aviation Services Vendor Scam E-mail

etihad logo

Scammers pretending to be from the Eithad Airline invite you and your company to join an approved list of vendors to supply aviation products and services to the airline via "Etihad Aviation Services", "Eitihad Aviation Group". The Etihad Aviation Group does exist but that by no means means that the persons contacting you are from the legitimate Etihad company.

The scammers request a significant payment to be included in this list. Now if this was a genuine list of vendors to the airline, the list managed by the airline and companies on that list invited to tender and provide quotaions for the airlines requirements it might be money worth spending but not when it is scammers and you will see nothing for your payment.

Another "Red flag" beside sender email addresses that raise suspicions is the way that persons who have no connection with any form of commerce are included in the receipients of these scam emails.
