Hello [name redacted] ,

Thanks for your feedback. First of all, My name is Mr Rowell Hambrick, i'm a Citizen of United State Of America and I am currently working with Waverly Corporation Bank and I have a good working record with my bank. I have been working here for 16 years now. I have an interesting Proposal for you and it will benefit for both of us in future.

It is obvious that this proposal as come to you as a surprise. This is because we have not met before but I am inspired to sending you this email following the huge fund transfer opportunity that will be of mutual benefit to the two of us.

I am the personal accountant manager to Engineer [Name redacted but same surname as my assumed identity] , a foreign contractor who has an investment account with my bank with a huge sum of money in it. My late client was a chemical consultant contractor with Royal Dutch until his death in a fatal car accident while at Australia on sabbatical with his entire family. The accident unfortunately took the lives of the family members comprising of himself, his wife and two kids in the summer of 2011 may their soul rest in perfect peace. He banked with us here at Waverly Corporation Bank and had a very huge sum of money in his account which has still yet not been claimed by anybody as there was no living will in place when he died. The amount of money involved here is about (Nine Million, eight Hundred and Forty Nine thousand Dollars) in account with indefinite interest. Since the death of my client; my bank and I have made several inquiries to his embassy to locate any of his extended family members or relatives but this has proven unsuccessful. I came to know about you in my search because you shares the same last name as my late client and i can make you the beneficiary because i have the right to present you to my Bank as his manager before his death.

I employed the services of random Engine Email Search for this purpose and your email came out. I am seeking your consent to make you a beneficiary as the next of kin of my late client since you share and bear the same last name. As such, the proceeds of the account can be paid to you as soon as you contact my bank and apply for the funds to be released to you as the next of kin. If we can be of one accord, I see no reason why we would not succeed. We both have to act swiftly on this matter in other to beat the deadline es cheat date.

I feel it would not have been the last wishes of my late client for his whole life work to be transferred to a government (Es cheat) he had always complained of their unfavorable public monetary policies, taxes and so on while he was alive. Consequently,The bank issued me a notice to provide the next of kin or have the account confiscated within the next 15 official working days. The last notice for claim came to my desk last week. I am contacting you to assist me in repatriating the funds left behind before they are declared unserviced by my bank. I propose that upon successful completion of this deal, we will split the proceeds 50% to me and 50% to you. I am after the success of this transaction with your full co-operation.

All I require is your honesty and full co-operation to enable us see this cool deal go through. I guarantee you that this will be executed under a legitimate arrangement that will protect you and me from breaching US laws. I want to also inform you that I am a very religious person and I will not lie to you because of my strong believes; I would expect the same from you. I will attach my Work ID to you for authenticity so we have equal ground to trust each other. Please get back to me on further procedure on how we can claim the money in the account successfully. I anticipate your co-operation.

Thanks you for your time and Hope to hear from you soon.

Regards,
Rowell Hambrick

Notes: And that is the scam... believe that you could claim what is a non-existent inheritance from a non-existent relative or potential relative who bears the same surname as you (which as I have pointed out is part of a fake identity and not your actual surname.

How does the scam work? After various procedures, submission of documents by both parties you will be asked for a fee that needs to be paid before the funds can be released, if you pay that another fee will be invented and as long as you keep paying further fees will need to be paid.Nothing that you are told is true, Rowell Hambrick isn't a real person, the bank isn't real, there is no inheritance, there was never a death in Australia. The only thing that is true is that for the present you are communicating with someone with a particular gmail account.

So we replie expressing our good fortune that someone bearing the same surname as me might have left a lot of money I could claim... tell me more Rowell!

Hello [name redacted],

Thanks for your time to hear me out and I'm sorry for responding late to your mail. I want to make you understand again that this transaction is very legitimate and there is no risk involved. All i want from you is to give me the go ahead and make you the beneficiary as the Next of kin because i have the right to present you to my Bank and i still remain the personal accountant to Late Engineer ( [name redacted] ) before his death, so anything I say concerning this will be followed by the bank Executives. However, before we can proceed further, I want you to assure me that you will be honest during the transaction and as soon as the funds is transferred to you we can meet in person and share money peacefully. You should understand that this transaction can be successful if we work together and as soon as I give you all legal procedure you will receive the funds from my bank, so I really need your assurance before we shall proceed.

I am totally very serious about this arrangement process as such I would want you to take this seriously too. My personal instinct directed me to contact you and I just hope it was not a wrong thing to do I shall direct you on the process of the claim; we shall start by sending a formal application to this effect. I will send you the text for the claims and transfer application to this effect. Be assured that the procedures to be adopted in effecting the transfer in your favor will be official and legal which will protect us from any breach of the law. We have the next 15 official working days.

Above all, I personally count on God to facilitate our plan and understanding, to produce not just success but also peaceful sharing of the funds at the end of the day and a wealthy family business relationship between us. I also pray for the establishment of cordial relationships between us, God being our helper. As soon as I hear from you and receive your assurance, I will send you the Text of Application for you to contact my bank for the release of the funds in the account of ( [name redacted] ) to your account as his next of Kin. ( [name redacted] ) I would advise that you follow all the steps and procedures which I will give so that we can get to the end of this transaction quickly. I have attached a copy of my work ID Card to you for authentication and to establish trust, so you can clearly identify who you are dealing with. Please, you can also do the same with any copy of your identification so we could proceed.

I await your response.

Regards,
Mr Rowell Hambrick

Notes: E-Mail to try and gain your confidence including a fake id using actually according to Gemini AI an ai generated photograph. The request for my id again to show I trust "Rowell Hambrick". I oblige with a similar fake id with an ai generated photo and confirm that I will be "honest" in my dealings with him. Let's have this right even if there is such an inheritance I am not entitled to it nor is he entitled to a share of it. The game goes on...

As of the date you are reading this I have had no further emails from Rowell, perhaps an indication that he has guessed I might be using a fake identity document certainly it is an indication that the person calling themselves Rowell Hamcrick is a scammer.
