Outstanding Invoice Scam

Now if you were a business and you received this email concerning an alleged unpaid invoice there would be a number of standard checks you would go through before payment was made. These would include seeing sight of the invoice in question and determining if the goods being invoiced had been ordered by an authorised person within the organisation and in fact received.

Mention of the invoice being outstanding since October 2024 and receiving the email where "Rob Lever" authorises payment in June 2026 would invite careful investigation before making any payment.

Subject: "Rod Lever"-Invoice

outstanding invoice scam

Notes: First question is whether you know the "Rod Lever" who is supposedly authorising the invoice. Next how can you make a payment if a copy of the invoice detailing amount has not been forwarded to you either by "Rod Lever" or "Icoach Global International USA". It is possible that there is a Rod Lever within your organisation but that does not mean that "your" Rod Lever is contacting you.

It is a recognised scam practice to leave things vague to make you curious and reply back ie "take the bait". A vague email is likely to get past spam filters where an email with an invoice attachment could be blocked or bounced.

It is possible to check the email addresses info@sunnyfit.com, david.sarnoff@icoachglobal-internationalusa.com and office@mailsoxs.com to see if they are legitimate and if there is a website associated with the domain names... sunnyfit.com - a free workouts app, icoachglobal-internationalusa.com - no website, mailsoxs.com - no website.

Whilst there is a legitimate organisation called ICoach Global the domain address given above is an attempt to spoof the legitimate organisation.

Recommendation: Do not reply, delete the e-mail.
